Thank you for your interest in these Senior Finance roles. This is an exciting time to be joining the University as we are setting the finance team up for the future to enable the delivery of the University strategy and support the largest period of investment the University has ever had. One significant element of this investment is the launch of our new ERP system, which will improve the way finance works with the University as well as enabling best practice and efficient processing and reporting in early summer 2024.

As a Director, you will bring new ways of working and innovative ideas to how we do things, and continue to build on what we have achieved, making links with the rest of the University, and ensuring that your team are supported and feel valued. You will be joining a passionate and highly skilled team that has successfully developed a strong community.

Working across the University at a senior level, you will work closely with myself, the Director of Finance and the whole University senior management team to play a key role in ensuring the financial sustainability of the University through effective business partnering, efficient processes and compliance with all of our regulatory and statutory requirements. You will be a strong strategic leader with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams in a variety of finance functions, responsible for delivering high-quality and effective services from a team of professional staff within budgetary and resource allocations. You will be an enabler who delivers a shared purpose by creating networks with senior colleagues within the University and externally with consultants, suppliers and other organisations.

I am looking for someone to join the team that is values led, has a passion for people, is able to inspire and lead a team to ultimately deliver for the benefit of the University.
